EDP-TS is an electropneumatic ventilator with inputs consisting of compressed air and high-pressure oxygen. After entering the gases into the pneumatic section, the inspiratory air is delivered to the patient according to user settings, controlled via electrically operated valves, pressure sensors, and regulators. Electrical controls are executed by the device’s processor. Additionally, the patient can breathe easily through the integrated emergency air valve when necessary. The ventilator calculates and displays various parameters on the screen, including tidal volume, exhaled volume, current volume, inspiratory-to-expiratory ratio (I:E), flow rate, minute ventilation, and more.
